Emergency Services Emergency medical assistance is available by calling 111 from anywhere on the trail.
Medical Services Doctors and dentists are located in two towns along the trail: Alexandra and Ranfurly. Pharmacies are also located in these towns. Medical services are not available in other trail towns.
Transport Support If you are unwell and cannot ride on a particular day, you can use the bag transport service to travel to your next accommodation for a small fee. Children travel free when accompanied by a paying adult.
Bike Mechanical Support If you hire a bike from us, we provide mechanical repairs at no additional cost. We expect you to be able to change a puncture yourself, as we do not offer callout services for flat tires.
If you are riding your own bike, you must be self-sufficient with repairs. We may be able to rent you a replacement bike if your bike breaks down, but we cannot guarantee availability during peak season.
