Roxburgh Gorge and Clutha Gold Transport

Yes, we provide a range of transport options to and from the trail and on the trail. Our vehicles are modern and comfportanle Mercedes Sprinters and Ford Transits.

Clyde Transfers: We run the length of the Roxburgh Gorge and Clutha Gold Trails for booked passengers in season heading towards Lake Waihola in the morning and return with passengers for our Queenstown connection. Note that transport from Waihola has the last luggage shift and hire bike return built into the pricing.

Dunedin Transfers: For cyclists finishing in Lake Waihola you can be transferred to Dunedin Airport, City or up to Middlemarch to transition onto the Otago Central Rail Trail. Note that transport from Waihola has the last luggage shift and hire bike return built into the pricing.

Queenstown Transfers: Queenstown is our gateway Airport, particularly for Australian cyclists and we run up to three times per day.

Wanaka Transfers: We don’t have a regular service to Wanaka, but you if you have group that needs to come from there or get back to there then we can help.

Private Transfers: Need something bespoke? Let us know as we can more than likely put something together for you.

Delays: From time to time, we will be delayed, it’s one of those things about driving anywhere. Our timetables have some additional time built in but if there are road works, congestion etc then we may be late. Similarly we are reliant on customers being at the designated collection point read to go at the designated time. We do not accept any liability for missed flights, dinner bookings etc. 

Carriage of personal bikes: While we take all care when carrying your bikes, we are not liable for any incidental damage. We’re carrying a lot of hire bikes on very large trailers and although we will carry customer bikes, we can’t account for variations in length, tyre width etc. We use a special bike blanket on every second customer bike to prevent any rubbing etc. You’ll be involved in the securing of your bike so that you’re satisfied that it is secure.
